The Company
Meribel is a fast growing furniture factory set in the heart of the Indonesian teak plantations. Founded in AGUSTUS 1997 and operated under PROFFESIONAL management it employs 250 people. THIS COMPANY HAVE A STRONG BACKGROUND IN THE WOOD PROCESSING PRODUCTION, HAD CHOSEN FOR ITS MANUFACTURING FACILITIES THE TRADITIONAL CARPENTER IN CENTER OF JAVA.

Meribel is not the best, but we have strong commitment to grow and up, because the best partnership of business as you are always keep the long term relationship.
The nucleus of the operation is a modern 50,000 square feet factory, designed with the needs of the local workforce in mind. Care to the labors, craftsmen, and work people network make us survive in this busines.

The People
Meribel staff consists entirely of Javanese people who have been trained in the JAKARTA AND SEMARANG under a program created and supervised by INDONESIAN government body, brings Them skills and understanding of wood to bear in the design and construction of the Meribel range of furniture.

The Woods
Extensive teak and mahogany plantations on the island of Java, Kalimantan and Sumatera. The plantations were managed by Government Department of forestry known as the ‘PERHUTANI’. supported by foreign re-forestation programs.

The Products
With a focus on wooden furniture comprising two main categories : High quality and General Quality, Meribel produces a range of furniture to suit of various tastes and demands. From antique replicas to special orders, from well designed garden furniture to many other outdoor products, as well as complementary wooden accessories and decorative elements for today home.

As a company, Meribel realizes its role as leader of the community. According to the local tradition as a member of the communitiy, Meribel is fuly engaged in community care projects and supports various public and administrative institutions and takes care of all kinds ceremonies in the neighborhood. The Company also fulfills its responsibility in being an active member of different international and domestic association regarding the legal use of plantation wood and the protection of this tropical forest environment, and supports the governmental reforestration program ini Indonesia.

Today apart from meeting local demanads, the company exports to South East Asia, The Middle East, Europe, and North and South America.
